Weekly agenda | 13 – 19 March

Dear all,

This week is a very important one. It will set up the tone for what’s to come on the next four years in The Netherlands. Let’s trust the result of the elections of March 15th emphasize a sense of unity amongst the people, rather than division. I firmly believe we need to work with each other, find solutions with each other, trust each other, now more than ever. I also have great admiration for the Dutch capacity of finding consensus, and moving forward together, facing challenges in a cooperative and inclusive manner. So I urge all the people who look at the world through this lens to make use of their vote. If you feel quite disappointed with the state of matters around you, this is exactly the opportunity you have to help the social and political scale fall to a compassionate and constructive side. If you feel hopeful, spread the positive message because we are collectively in need of it, seriously.

To make everything all the merrier, the selected cultural events for this week are all free entrance or donation-based. To honor the spirit of inclusion, compassion, constructiveness, and freedom, which should be the guide for any voter, any citizen, any human being on this earth. Don’t forget that every listed event includes a link to its website, and free events are signaled as well. To get updates please like Amsterdive’s Facebook page. And if you did it already, you have a place in my heart, obviously.
