WWW is a cultural agenda focused on art, music, lesser-known cultural venues, sustainability & self-development. With a soft spot for world-music and multicultural events.
I love October, and I’m sure the reason for this is that it is MY month. Yes, that’s right, I’m an early Autumn child so I get all excited with what, for me, is *the beginning of everything*. Since I remember, October is a month of interesting events, social gatherings, people all around and, what’s more important, cake. Looking forward to seeing what weird and magical experiences this year is about to bring. As for Amsterdam: this is what you can expect, culturewise.
Weekly programs I am looking forward to, this month:
DANCE like nobody’s seeing you. Except that they are. And that’s alright because this is the place to *do you*. Just let the music and your body guide you. Chances are this is going to be a liberating experience.
Storytelling evenings at the Mezrab (various days a week) – donation based
STORIES. I still love the storytellings at the Merzab. Such a place for meaningful stories and encounters. Haven’t been in ages. Want to go back.
The parties & the concerts:
A cafe/bar with a half-pipe and a dancefloor where we’re supposed to shake our hips.

Sat 13, Roda da Holanda | Pllek – free entrance
That Samba band from Amsterdam you need to have seen at least once.
When you’re opening your cultural association with a concert of the Zebra guys, you’re doing something right.
The event where to find band mates + listen to some live tunes.
They say this will be “a grooving tornado of jacking soul”. I believe them.
A celebration of the legacy of the king Fela Kuti.
